Early start over Melbourne CBD this morning.

Which suburbs did we fly over this morning in Melbourne?

Ever wondered what a hot air balloon is doing after it drifts out of sight? During COVID, a balloonist built an app that lets you follow each flight, its quiet rise, its dance with the wind, even its altitude in real time.

High above Melbourne today. ☀️

Best view in the city, love what you do, and you’ll never work a day in your life ☀️

🥂 SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS. SKIP THE CREDIT CARD FEES. GET THE CHAMPAGNE. 🍾 Every time you pay a small business by credit card, someone has to pay the credit card processing fee. Previously, that cost could be passed on to the customer who chose the convenience of paying by credit card. Under the new Government-mandated changes, businesses can no longer pass that fee on as a card surcharge. Instead, the business is required to absorb the cost. So rather than the card user paying the cost associated with their chosen payment method, that fee now comes directly out of the payment received by the small business. For a small, family-owned Australian business, those fees add up. They become yet another expense to absorb, continually increasing cost of doing business. So we’ve decided we’d rather give something back to YOU than hand more money over in card processing fees. Choose 'bank transfer' when paying for your BalloonMan booking and we’ll give you a FREE bottle of BalloonMan souvenir champagne. 🍾 Think of it as getting back to the simplicity of paying with cash, which we gladly still accept!! No credit card company sitting in the middle taking a percentage of the transaction. You pay the same advertised price. The difference is that more of your payment stays with the small Australian business actually providing your experience, rather than being handed over to greedy credit card companies in transaction fees. And if there’s money to be spent, we’d much rather spend it thanking our customers. ❤️ Support small business. 🏦 Pay by bank transfer or cash. 💳 Keep the credit card companies out of the transaction. 🍾 Enjoy the bubbles on us. That’s it. No fine print. One FREE bottle of BalloonMan souvenir champagne per booking paid by bank transfer or cash, regardless of the number of tickets in that booking.🍾

An experience like no other 😍🎈

Melbourne just has that magic 🪄

Chief Pilot Chris showing us how he uses a top mounted parachute to open and close allowing for hot air to release and cool the inside air which results in reduce lift. This allows him to street up or down in altitude.
